We give our customers the best service and use only the highest quality products to deliver outstanding results. Due to rapid growth we are searching for an honest, skilled, and dedicated Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to join our dynamic team.

The RDO is responsible for overall management, growth, and profitability of the operations in the region. This is a demanding role, requiring an extensive background in all aspects of operations. The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of management experience leading a diverse team. They must be process oriented, analytical, highly organized, and possess a growth mindset. Information must be communicated professionally, and with a sense of urgency to the regional team and company leadership.

In addition, the RDO ensures all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained by reviewing the maintenance logs with the fleet mechanic and fleet manager.

  • Well versed in finance with full P&L accountability and ability to drive YOY performance improvements.
  • Work closely with human resource team to achieve objectives for assigned region by recruiting, interviewing, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and managing performance of employees to ensure proper coverage and service of assigned region.
  • Communicate response plans to clients.
  • Responsible for completion of pre/post-season (snow/landscape) damage analysis at all assigned locations.
  • Facilitate training for direct reports and field staff.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective customers to support and achieve goals for new business development, customer satisfaction, and retention.
  • Develops and maintains positive and interactive partnerships with service partners, vendors, and team members.
  • Foster creative problem solving and win-win solutions.
  • Provide 24 x 7 monitoring and emergency dispatch as required by weather conditions.
  • Identify and pursue best practices that align to strategic goals.
  • Ensures service levels are being met.
  • Manage crews to complete all post-season (snow/landscape) repairs in a timely and constructive manner.
  • Provide leadership for field management team.
  • Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s operations division.
  • Collaborates with senior operational leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
  • Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Plans, develops, directs, and monitors all operational and fiscal activities for the operations to ensure quality and consistency with company standards
  • Drives the adoption of new company service offerings and go-to market campaigns.
  • Provides guidance to region operations management in the identification and resolution of complex issues which may be sensitive in nature.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
  • Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, and standards to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
  • Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.
  • Work with team to execute a sales strategy that will maximize sales objectives and bring services into new markets and clients.
  • Collaborates with HR driving the strategic development, implementation and management of labor relations programs, policies and services that maximize employee and manager satisfaction and reduces grievances and claims.
  • Works with senior leadership to establish and administer the department’s budget.
  • Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to senior operational leadership.
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operational performance.
  • Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
  • Fleet maintenance/management responsibility and ensure assigned daily and nightly routes are serviced per customer SLA compliance.
  • All other duties assigned by organization CEO, COO and RVP.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
